Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to book or can I walk in?
We strongly recommend booking in advance to guarantee your spot, especially for popular treatments and peak times. Walk-ins are welcome when our schedule allows, but we can’t guarantee availability without a booking
Do I need a consultation before booking a treatment?
Yes — we recommend starting with a skin consultation, especially if it’s your first visit. This allows us to analyse your skin, discuss your concerns, and create a tailored treatment plan.
Are your treatments safe for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. We carefully assess your skin type and condition before recommending any treatment. Our advanced technology and professional products are suitable for even the most sensitive skin.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
That’s where we come in! During your consultation, we’ll analyse your skin and listen to your goals, then guide you towards the most effective treatments.
What should I expect at my first appointment?
Your first visit begins with a consultation and skin analysis. We’ll explain the treatment process, answer your questions, and make sure you feel comfortable before we begin.
Do your treatments have downtime?
It depends on the treatment. Many of our facials and skin therapies have no downtime, meaning you can return to normal activities straight away. More advanced treatments (like microneedling or peels) may involve some redness or mild peeling, which we’ll explain in detail before your session.
How many sessions will I need?
Every client is unique. Some treatments show results immediately, while others require a series of sessions for the best outcome. We’ll provide a personalised plan during your consultation.
Can I book a treatment if I’m pregnant?
Yes — we offer safe and relaxing treatments such as pregnancy massage and selected facials. However, some advanced treatments are not suitable during pregnancy. Please let us know if you are expecting so we can guide you safely.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and online payments. Packages and gift vouchers are also available.
Do you sell products for home use?
Yes — we stock professional, medical-grade skincare to support your results at home. Your therapist will recommend products tailored to your skin.
How can I book an appointment?
You can book online through our website, call us directly, or send us a message. We recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time.
What is microneedling and how does it work?
Microneedling (also called collagen induction therapy) uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin. These stimulate the body’s natural healing response — boosting collagen and elastin production to help with fine lines, uneven texture, scarring and pigmentation.
Does microneedling hurt?
Most people feel a mild pricking or tingling sensation during microneedling. You can use numbing cream if needed to increase comfort. Any redness or sensitivity afterward usually subsides in 24-72 hours.
How many sessions of microneedling will I need to see results?
Results vary depending on your skin condition, but generally 3-6 treatments spaced 3-6 weeks apart are recommended for best results in addressing things like scars, fine lines or pigmentation.
What is fat cavitation and how effective is it?
Fat cavitation is a non-invasive body contouring method using low-frequency ultrasound to disrupt fat cells in targeted areas. Many clients see visible slimming and contour improvements over a series of treatments. It works best when combined with healthy diet and exercise.
Is there any downtime after a skin peel, bio-peel or Biorepeel?
With mild or enzyme peels, downtime is minimal — possibly slight redness or flaking for a day or two. Stronger peel treatments (deeper bio-peels) may result in peeling, sensitivity, or redness for a few days. Proper aftercare is important.
Are your treatments safe for all skin types / conditions?
We assess every client via consultation and advanced skin analysis. Certain treatments may be modified or contraindicated based on skin type, medical history, pregnancy, active infection, or other skin conditions.
How long before I see results from LED light therapy / RF skin tightening / body contouring?
You may see initial improvements in skin texture or tone after the first one or two treatments. But for more significant skin tightening or contour changes, a series of treatments (often 3-6 or more) spaced appropriately is usually needed.
What homecare / skincare products will support my results?
We stock medical-grade skincare products tailored to your skin type. Consistent use of cleansers, serums (hydration, antioxidants), moisturisers, and sunscreen significantly improves and maintains your treatment results.
Can I combine treatments (e.g. microneedling + LED light therapy, or body contouring + RF)?
Yes — in many cases combining treatments can enhance results (for example, microneedling plus LED to reduce inflammation, or RF with fat cavitation for better contouring). During your consultation we’ll design a treatment plan that may include combinations tailored to your skin and goals.
What are the risks or side effects of advanced treatments (like plasma pen, microneedling, peels)?
Common temporary effects include redness, swelling, mild sensitivity, peeling or flaking. More serious risks are rare but may include pigmentation changes, irritation, or infection if aftercare isn’t properly followed.
Are your treatments performed by qualified professionals?
Yes. At Aspects of Beauty, all treatments are carried out by a diploma-qualified skin therapist with extensive training in advanced skin and beauty treatments. Sadly, many clinics operate without proper qualifications, which can put your skin at risk. We pride ourselves on combining professional expertise with medical-grade technology to ensure your treatments are safe, effective, and tailored to you.
